Convention days are long. You’ve been on your feet since breakfast, shaking hands, sitting through panels, navigating 7 million square feet of exhibit space at the Orange County Convention Center. By 5 PM, you need a real drink and real food - not a hotel lobby bar with $18 cocktails and microwaved appetizers. Vincenzo Cucina Italiana is minutes north of the OCCC on International Drive, right at ICON Park. A full bar, Italian food made from scratch, and happy hour pricing that makes the evening feel like a reward. Walk in, sit down, and let the convention fade behind you.

The Drive

Minutes from the Convention Center on I-Drive

The Orange County Convention Center sits on International Drive, and so does Vincenzo. Head north on I-Drive from the OCCC - no highway, no detour, no guessing. You’ll arrive at ICON Park where Vincenzo has been since 2014. Complimentary valet parking is waiting every evening, so you skip the lot and walk straight inside. For convention attendees staying at nearby hotels like the Rosen Centre, Hyatt Regency, Hilton Orlando, or the Marriott World Center, it’s an easy ride or a short Uber. Most guests are seated with a drink in hand within minutes of leaving the convention floor.

The Bar

Full Bar & Craft Cocktails After the Convention

This is not a lobby bar or a chain restaurant pour. The bar at Vincenzo is a full spirit selection with craft cocktails made by hand - torched old-fashioneds, espresso martinis, Aperol Spritzes, hand-muddled mojitos, classic negronis. During happy hour, well cocktails are $10 and beer is $4. The wine list runs deep with reds, whites, and Italian imports by the glass for $7. Convention guests come in for one drink after a long day and stay for the atmosphere, the food, and the second round. There’s a reason 4,000+ people have reviewed this place.

The Food

Italian Dinner After a Day at the Convention Center

Most convention attendees walk in for happy hour and stay for dinner. The full menu runs from 5 to 10 PM - handmade pasta, fresh seafood, USDA Prime cuts, and desserts all made from scratch. Lobster ravioli in a creamy vodka sauce. Short rib pappardelle braised for hours. Chilean sea bass over risotto. A $13 kids menu for anyone who brought the family along. This is the meal that makes a convention trip to Orlando worth remembering. Not the conference food. Not the hotel restaurant. This.
